Located near Thomasville and Armistead roads, Guyte P. McCord Park spans for 21.2 acres, complete with a wide variety of beautiful and unique plant species. The multi-surfaced trail is perfect for beginner level hikers and runners. The park also provides an opportunity for anyone interested in being a part of a community garden. In addition to that, the park includes benches, picnic tables and a small, shimmering pond that is great for nature viewing. McCord Park is truly one of Tallahassee’s most precious hidden gems that is home to a treasure trove of beautiful bronze sculptures created by native Tallahassee local and world-class artist W. Stanley “Sandy” Proctor.
