Apalachee Regional Park Trails

Showcasing the best of the Tallahassee running trails, Apalachee Regional Park offers opportunities for running, hiking and biking on several types of surfaces. This multi-use park includes one of the nation’s few sites designed specifically for cross country running. The facility features pristine, multi-surface courses and numerous distance options through the rolling hills, lowlands and pine forests. Two of the park’s trails include the 1-mile Warm-Up Trail and the Coaches Loop.

Featured Uses: Cross country running, hiking, jogging/walking, mountain biking, cycling, and other recreational activities. Leashed dogs are permitted.

Park Amenities: Parking to accommodate 3,500 vehicles, four lighted multi-purpose grass fields with American football field goals and scoreboards, a remote control airplane and helicopter airfield, restrooms, and water fountains.
